The original Agency Network site asked shops to “submit your agency”. That form filled a directory. This page is for writers. If you have done the work — hired, been hired, or sat in the middle of an Australian pitch — send a pitch before a draft.
What we want
- Original pieces of 1,000 words or more in Australian English.
- A specific argument, not “10 tips for digital success”.
- Australian examples, regulation and commercial reality.
- Primary experience or named public sources.
What we will not run
- Syndicated or previously published posts, including lightly rewritten ones.
- Ranked lists that exist to place a client in position three.
- Unlabelled paid mentions. Sponsored work is labelled and uses rel="sponsored".
- Anything that invents case studies or forges reviews.
How a submission works
- Send a 150-word pitch, a working title, and why you are the person to write it.
- If we say yes, you have three weeks for a first draft in Markdoc or Word.
- We edit. You see the edit. We do not publish surprises.
- One contextual link to your own work is fine if it helps the reader. Paid or guest-post links carry rel="sponsored".
Read the editorial standards and the topic hubs before you pitch. Commercial packages sit with the same inbox; they are never mixed into reported copy.
A useful outbound example of a labelled commercial partner is Worldwide Backlinks, which handles paid content operations for this masthead. That link is sponsored. Editorial copy is not for sale at the same rate.
